One of the best parts of camping out of a rig is also one of the biggest challenges: space is tight.
You only have so much room for gear, food, recovery equipment, tools, bags, and all the other “just in case” stuff that seems to multiply before every trip. The trick is not to bring everything. The trick is to bring the right things.
That is where packing light and camping big comes in.
At Tembo Tusk, we build gear the way we like to use it. It has to work hard, pack small, set up fast, and not make a bunch of noise rattling around in the back of the rig. If it doesn't earn its spot, it does not come with us.
The Fire Pit, Adventure Skottle, and Bar Top Camping Table are a perfect example. All three pack flat and can fit under the back seat of a Jeep or between the roll bar and rear window. That means you can still bring a real camp setup without filling the whole back of your vehicle before you even hit the trail.
